When you say no thanks, it will do everything you need to handle your small business, inventory, home office, autos and any other assets. Then it will try to upsell you when you say you have your own small business. When you say no thanks, it does a perfect job of walking you through your itemized deductions. The Basic software will try to upsell you when it sees that you need to itemize deductions. Basic didn't complain about importing my Turbotax files from 2007, even though I used Deluxe last year, will never do that again.
